About ZenMail

Email that stays
out of your way.

A native Mac email client built for people who believe inbox zero is a daily habit, not a fantasy.

Our reason

The client we wished existed.

Email clients have been frustrating for years. Web apps are slow. Native alternatives are often expensive, bloated, or built on cloud sync layers nobody asked for.

So we built ZenMail: a native Mac app that talks directly to Gmail, keeps its working data on your Mac, and gets out of your way the moment you are done.

Four things we refuse to compromise.

  • The ZenMail inbox on Mac, sorted into Priority.

Instant, always. Actions land immediately. There’s no waiting for a round trip before your inbox responds.

  • Private by design. Your email stays between Gmail and your Mac. We don’t keep a copy on our servers.

  • Zen Mode’s keys: E to archive, H to snooze, Return to reply all, R to reply, F to forward, U to mark unread.

Keyboard-first. Archive, snooze, reply, and compose without reaching for the mouse.

  • The ZenMail sidebar on a Mac desktop.

Native by choice. Built with macOS frameworks, for the platform it was made for.

Independent by design

Built by a small team that cares about the details.
