## Why ZenMail exists

Email should feel like a sharp tool, not another place to wait. Web applications can feel slow, and many alternatives are built around cloud synchronization layers. ZenMail talks directly to Gmail, keeps its working mail data on the Mac, and gets out of the way when the work is done.

Actions land immediately. The interface responds before a network round trip completes.

Email stays between Gmail and the user's Mac. ZenMail does not keep a server-side copy of the inbox.

ZenMail uses SwiftUI, AppKit, and other macOS frameworks so the application feels at home on the platform.
